Services of the Hearing and Speech Clinic are available to anyone who seeks them, regardless of age. While referrals are frequently made by medical, dental, and educational personnel for evaluation and/or treatment services, it is necessary for the client or parent/guardian to make the initial contact requesting services. The University of Maryland Hearing and Speech Clinic is a training and community service facility, therefore services are provided for reasonable rates.
